Student facing portal for a robust Learning Management System, track course progress, real time conversation with support, join forums and share amazing ideas.
Tech Stack
The Problem
Students and instructors needed a single place to run structured learning end to end. Instructors wanted to train their students with real course content, and students needed to track progress, get help, and stay engaged — without stitching together separate tools for video, payments, and support.
My Role
I was the sole developer, building both the frontend and the backend of the entire system: the student portal, the course-progress tracking, real-time support conversations, forums, and the Mux video and Stripe billing integrations behind them.
Key Technical Decision
The support experience had to feel live, so I ran it over WebSocket for real-time conversation between students and support, backed OAuth 2.0 for authentication, and offloaded video delivery to Mux so streaming stayed reliable independent of the app server.
Outcome
The student portal is live at learn.infinixtechcloud.co.uk, letting an institution deliver courses, take payments, and support learners in real time from one platform.
